Other fun events occur throughout the year for children and youth.
Examples include:
A Mission Project is selected by the children to support each year, helping children to participate in showing kindness, love and support to those in need. The Mission Project selected for 2024 is "Lutherans in Africa".

Library - St. John’s has a large Library with a wide selection of fiction, nonfiction, resource materials and movies (DVDs), all of which may be borrowed (signed out) for the enjoyment of the children, their families, and all members of the congregation.
