Seniors enjoy this time time of Christian fellowship,

making new friends,

and getting to know old friends better.

St. John's SEENAGERS

The Seniors of St. John’s Lutheran Church

All Seniors are encouraged to come out for the St. John’s Lutheran Church Seenagers monthly meeting and get-together. The Seenagers meet the second Thursday of every month at 2:00pm from September to December, and then from March to June. A pot-luck supper is enjoyed at each meeting, so you'll want to bring a favorite dish for sharing.

The meetings include typically include a Bible Devotion, followed by fellowship and fun time . . . such as, musical entertainment, guest speaker on a current controversial topic, games, bunco, and then, the Pot-Luck Supper which is enjoyed by all.

Many fun one-day, and occasional multi-day, excursions are planned for the Seenagers to participate in, and they often invite their own family and friends to participate in these enjoyable times!

Examples of such events were:

- Attending the RCMP Musical Ride
- Attending shows at the Upper Canada Playhouse, Morrisburg
- 1000 Island Cruise with lunch buffet
- Kawartha River Boat Cruise and lunch through the Peterborough Lift Locks
- 4-day excursion to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to see a performance at the world-famous Sight & Sound Theatre and tour the Amish countryside
- 3-day excursion to St. Jacobs
- 4-day excursion to Frankenmuth and Toronto
- Merrickville and local alpaca farm
- Autumn Leaves in Algonquin Park and Huntsville
