Quilting has been an ongoing activity at St. John's throughout the years. The current Quilter's Group started up in the mid 1980's as a mission project and has been going strong ever since.

St. John's Happy Quilters donate $300 from the sale of one of their quilts to the Pembroke White Cane Club. The money will be used to support the club's activities and benefit the greater Pembroke blind community. (Rose Saar, Shirley Mullen, Joyce Marcuccio (Happy Quilters), and Orville Wilkie and Gerry Frketich (White Cane Club)

The Happy Quilter's of St. John's meet every Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 2:3 PM. They have a lot of fun in Christian fellowship and enjoy giving their time and talent so other people can stay warm.
