WITHIN
OUR BORDERS
ABLAZE!
Within Our Borders Committee was established to support missionary
efforts throughout North America and specifically to work on outreach
within Renfrew County, the largest County in Ontario, Canada being
approx. 8,000 square kilometres and a population less than 100,000.
The
Within Our Borders key activities include:
1) Printing business cards with the Lutheran Hour broadcast times
and St. John’s contact information – these cards are
used by members to give to friends and acquaintances during witnessing
opportunities ;
2) collecting winter clothing on behalf of local agencies for
underprivileged families in the community;
3) Participating in the local Santa Claus Parade with a Christian
theme message: Bringing the Nations of Christ; and
4) raising awareness of North American mission needs.
